Video: Michael Drysch wins $75,000 with half-court shot and meets LeBron James

Monday morning, Michael Drysch appeared on Good Morning America (GMA) with his $75,000 check for making a half court, sky-hook shot at the Miami Heat basketball game Friday night. Drysch said that 30,000 people entered the contest to make the shot and he was the lucky one who was chosen. Drysch acted as though if he made it that would be nice, but if he didn’t that was going to be okay too. The news has created an Internet buzz Monday morning.

Lebron James witnessed the basket and ran out onto the court to congratulate Drysch and the two ended up on the floor together rolling around in all of the excitement. Drysch said that he really wanted to meet “King James” but that he was surprised how it happened.

The video below shows a very excited Michael Drysch making the amazing shot, then LeBron James coming out to congratulate him and ends up knocking him over while attempting to hug him. Drysch couldn’t seem to decide if it was better to make the $75,000 or meet LeBron James, but eventually he said that he really enjoyed meeting LeBron James. Monday morning, Drysch attempted several short shots from the GMA studio and missed most of them.
