The show opened with Bill Hader portraying Shepard Smith in a Fox News sketch as he interviews Mitt Romney (Jason Sudeikis). Lindsay then performed her monologue, and focused on her recent legal troubles, as she was patted down by Kristen Wiig and her eyes were checked to determine whether they were bloodshot or not by Kenan Thompson. Lindsay also mocks herself in the 'Scared Straight' sketch. She and Kenan play jail inmates who try to scare troubled youths from engaging in a life of crime. Unfortunately, Lindsay's reliance on the teleprompter is glaring, but fortunately Kenan and the rest of the cast shine.
