A Georgia witness noticed a bright light coming through the bedroom blinds and reports watching and then videotaping a silent, triangle-shaped object with bright lights at the three corners and a red light underneath as it moved along a nearby tree line on January 5, 2012, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness opened the window blinds when the lights were seen.
"I opened them to see what was so bright, and then I saw three bright, white lights forming a perfect triangle with a dull red, pulsating light in the center of the object," the witness stated. "I got very excited, and had the mind set to grab my camera, which has a video recorder, opened my back door and started shooting the video."

The witness described the object and its movement.
"It made no noise and moved very slowly across the sky along the tree line. This was approximately at 11:45 p.m. on January 5, 2012. The triangle object started to turn on a yaw axis, and continued to rotate counter clockwise, which showed multiple lights. It was very dark in color, such as black. It vanished in a split second."
No town name was mentioned in the public portion of the MUFON report, which was filed on January 6, 2012. The above quotes were edited for clarity.
Georgia is a current UFO ALERT 4 rating, with a higher than average number of UFO sightings nationally. Georgia had 20 reports in December, the 8th highest reporting state - while California had 63 reports in December 2011 - the highest reporting state in the nation.
