Yesterday, during the New York Jet vs. Raiders NFL game, Leon Washington took a bad fall and broke his leg. Washington was hurt during a six-yard carry, when an Oakland player rolled onto his ankle, and caused his leg to bend in awkward way. His teammates said that his bone was broken through the skin and was visible on the field, the Deseret News in Salt Lake City reported.
Washington was carted off the field in tremendous pain, and he suffered a broken fibula. Washington underwent surgery immediately after the Jets' 38-0 win, but he will be out for the rest of the season.
The video below shows the fall, but it needs to be watched several times to really see what happens.
