Super Bowl Commercials are supposed to make an impact to be remembered. On Sunday night that is exactly what happened when Dodge shared the So God Made a Farmer commercial with the world. The spot helped kickoff for the Year of the Farmer campaign to raise money for the Future Farmers of America. With an increasingly population of agricultural voices, the farmers were heard loud and clear.
Also heard was the legendary radio personality of Paul Harvey. The radio host broadcast her syndicated show for decades and was a staple of farming and ranching lifestyles by sharing American stories in a very passionate and unique way.
Paul Harvey’s voice last night reminded everyone of America’s commitment to the agriculture business. While some folks might have been watching the images of the segment, the voice of Paul Harvey brought back a lot of memories for others.
Paul Harvey died in 2009, but his career inspired a nation. Sharing a piece of American history every day combined with his style of delivery, there was no way to miss the man’s voice on the Super Bowl commercial. It’s obvious his impact still lasts after his death as many are reflecting on his words heard on Sunday night.
