Justin Timberlake’s new music video for “Not a Bad Thing” doubles as a documentary and the focus of the video is about a search for a couple who got engaged on the Long Island Railroad to the track. According to a report by Rolling Stone on March 20, even Ellen DeGeneres has joined in on the search.
In the video, documentarians scour the streets of New York City in search of the mystery couple. As they search, other couples interview about their journeys of love and the paths love can take the special bonds that are formed. Ellen showed the video on an episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” urging viewers to also join in on the show so her good friend Timberlake can finally meet the couple.
The “Not a Bad Thing” track is on part two of Timberlake’s 2013 album, “The 20/20 Experience.” While the search for the mystery couple continues, Justin Timberlake continues to tour.
The pop star recently announced a second tour date in New Zealand and according to Billboard.com has topped the weekly list of Hot Tours based on $23.6 million in ticket sales from the last 14 performances of his tour’s opening leg.
