The Golden Globe Awards got a blast of comedy on Sunday night. Not only was there Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell there were a couple of late night talk show hosts too. One of the most humorous moments of the night had to be when Jimmy Fallon and Jay Leno graced the Golden Globes stage. The two comedians are part of the NBC network and both host their own shows.
During the banter prior to announcing the next category, the two started playfully jabbing at each other as if they were fighting. Jimmy Fallon shared how much an award meant to an individual and how it pushes people on. Jay Leno said that it sometimes didn't happen. Going back and forth, it was obvious the two were double speaking about the late night spots on NBC.
“We’re still talking about the Golden Globes, right?” asked Jimmy Fallon at the end of the segment. The audience responded in a rupture of laughs as it was obvious that Fallon was looking to get Leno’s job at some point. Of course it definitely wasn't going to be on Sunday!
