Jennifer Lawrence won big at the SAG Awards on Sunday night. The actress took the stage to pick up her Actor for the Best Actress award for Silver Linings Playbook and when she did the viewers at home got to see her dress separate. While some might not think of it as a wardrobe malfunction, everyone is wondering how to dress split in one camera shot and then in another the dress appears not to be ripped.
Believe it or not, the dress was built to separate in two pieces if needed with a lining in-between. The star wore the gown as one piece, but when the garment was snagged as she walked up the stage it momentarily separated.
While the fashion was minimal at the SAG Awards, this moment on stage has the fans talking. Wondering how the skirt would break away like that in such a split second, the obvious answer is Dior made it look like the gown was ripped, but it really wasn't as the materials just separated.
