I don't know but it seems to me that every time a Jackson family
member has something to promote; a tour, an album, a movie
a book, suddenly there they are speaking about their brother
once again. Sure fire way to get air time, huh?

  • Halubulu 1 year ago

just like the rest of them, janet is making money off MJ's death. if he hadn't died, she would be getting no where near the attention she is getting now. people want to be close to MJ and she is taking advantage of that.

SO TRUE, and painting him in a more negative light than tabloids ever could.

Michael was the only sibling that acknowledged her existence. She followed him around like a puppy; they were so close that his family had to brace themselves to tell him that she eloped - married a Debarge member. They believed they were walking into a "shoot the messenger" scenario. I got this info from one of Michael's biographies, but I'm not giving the author free publicity.

He taught everything that he knew, would have given his life for her, and this is the thanks that he gets. Now he's responsible for every self-esteem issue that she has ever had; being terrorized by her father, and growing up with a mother who wouldn't defend and protect her had little effect .

How could MJ possibly be so kind, sweet and caring while promoting acceptance of others for who they are and as they are and yet be so cruel to his own sister? That just seems so hypocritical to me. Janet says it took her longer to begin the grieving process than her other family members. Hell, looked to me like the rest of them were having a party up there on stage at his memorial. Then soon after carrying on promoting their own sideline businesses and stuff. I think Usher shed more tears than the Jacksons did. The whole thing just smacks of illusion and prank.

How could Michael know that he was hurting her if she never said anything to him? She herself said that she would LAUGH IT OFF. She did not break down in tears which is what most little girls do when they are picked on; and continued to stick to him like white on rice..

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,77884,00.html:

"Joe Jackson used to lock Michael in a closet," my source says. "The abuse just goes on and on. Janet was also afraid of him. I once found her in the kitchen with a huge knife. She was going to use it on him."

If she couldn't speak up to Michael, the sibling that loved her the most, and comforted her when Joe was ranting and raving, then is she even capable of asserting herself to ANYONE? I'll bet that she has a 20 year long list of people who hurt her feelings and still don't know about it.

As for Michael's "hypocrisy": you're comparing his 'cruel' 15 year old insensitive behavior to the values and compassion that he expressed towards others from his mid-20's until the day he died at 50.

Gee, if I was to be remember for stupid, insensitive things that I said and did to my baby brothers when I was a teenager, I would remembered as a first class bitch - in spite of becoming a social worker, volunteering at a nursing home, and being the person that my friends turn to when they are in a crisis.

right on laila. It would be really really REALLY stupid to be mad at someone just because they teased their siblings when they were younger. People tend to forget that the jacksons are human.

THE WRONG JACKSON DIED, THE GOOD ONE LEFT US, MJ WAS NOT CRUEL TO JANET, HE TEASED HER ABOUT HER BUTT, I HAVE DONE THAT LOTS OF TIMES, AND IAM A REALLY GREAT PERSON,

  • JENN 1 year ago

yup mj teased his lil sis, but i bet the other brothers were worst than mj, iam mean jermaine and tito, marlon they called her cow and horse, not nice, both mj and janet had image issues, they thought they were ugly, b/c they were made fun of by the father and bros

It's All the Same With Anyone. We don't want to Admit OUR Part in the scenarios of our own lives, so we must find Someone to Point the Finger at.
Janet, I Love You to death, BUT; Most Teenagers Make Fun of their of their Siblings - there's a Fine Line between that & being just plain Cruel. As you got older, did you ever come to Michael's Defense when he Continued to struggle with himself & the world?
Please don't be like most of your family members & use Michael's name to promote your book, etc. You are VERY Talented in your own right, promote Yourself on Your Own Merit. Tell the Media(loids) to Leave Michael Alone!

  • MichaelJacksonFEEN 1 year ago

Listen Michael said in his book the ONLY REASON why he teased Janet about her weight was because he didn't like it on her & wanted her to lose it bad I believe Mike when he said that - & Michael is not the type to be mean & If Mike is being mean to a person best believe there is a REASON for it & for all those who r hating on Janet please shut the f*ck upp - Mike & Janet have their own style - Mike is Legend in his own beautiful way & Janet is Legend in her own beautilful way - Trust me when I say that & Janet is doing this tour because she misses her fans & wants people to hear her music again ; Janet did not put this book to give Michael a bad name ... I know she won't ever do that .. C'mon this is Janet Jackson were talking about here ; I love you Michael & Janet ... & I can't wait to see you on ur tour on the 21st of March ; #Justice4MJ !!

Janet didn't say MJ was the only one that called her those names. She said all her brothers did, including him. She’s not blaming MJ for anything. She also acknowledges that it was just natural sibling teasing. All she is saying is she took it to heart a little more than most people do because she was so sensitive. She's not blaming anyone for how the feels about herself and she is NOT making money off MJ's death! She has had a huge successful career of her own. She'd be doing this tour regardless of MJ's death. You people are nothing but a bunch of negative hypocrites! Shut up and mind your own business. You don’t know what you’re even saying. Your treating Janet just like the media treated MJ! Hypocrites!

  • mj love 1 year ago

oh, you are beautiful janet, but i dont believe that mj would have said things to be hurtful, it wasent probably meant honey, love ya janet !

  • Anonymous 1 year ago

I can't believe the family is saying things like this now that he's dead and can't defend himself or at the very least explain. But I
guess you gotta make a buck.

BYW my brother used to call me "blubber butt" and I've never been overweight. We are best friends now.

I think all the family members need to stop saying negative things about Michael. Also they need to stop sating negative things about their dad Joe jackson. No matter his Character flaws, Him and God made all of them what they are today. God does not like ugliness. Joe jackson is what I will call a strict disciplinarian, and he groomed his children the best way he knew how to keep the from ending up on the srteet as drug addict. As a result of his action, we all enjoyed the jacksons and Michael's great talent.

Let us stop these talks about Joe Jackson abusing his children.
Let his children too stop saying that their father beay them. He beat them all the way to the bank!!!!!!!

Janet, grow up. My family called me many names when I was growing up. I was very skinny, and no one knew I could gain a pound of flesh. I love my family to death. That did not affect my self esteem. I understand that some people are more sensitive than other. Just grow up and be healed of that in Jesus Name I pray, AMEN.

Michael Jackson touched all of our lives one way or the other. He was one of a kind. No one can ever have the kind of heart he had. Let people leave him alone to rest in peace.
