Video: James Taylor sings ‘America The Beautiful’ at Obama's Inauguration

James Taylor was the first star on Monday morning to share music at President Obama’s inauguration. The talented entertainer had a special part during the ceremony with fans getting to see the artist perform America The Beautiful.

As the song seemed to be perfect in the crisp morning air, some wondered why the artist didn’t sing more. With a very tight schedule, every second was calculated so the ceremony kept a pace. With Taylor’s performance, it seemed to fit into the perfect pocket as he shared the moment of American price with the world.

Many dignitaries and celebrities were part of the big moment. Hollywood has long supported President Obama and the moment when he was sworn in definitely had many famous faces in the crowd. Kelly Clarkson, Marlon Wayans, Omar Epps and John Legend had great spots on the platform and were flashed on the large television screens around the Washington Mall for everyone to see.
