Howie Mandel is keeping fitness a priority in his life. The entertainer was the guest of the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday and he decided not to sit down and talk. In what had to be a first, the entertainer walked the set of the show while he spoke to Ellen DeGeneres about his work in New Orleans and America's Got Talent.. While it sounds sort of strange, the entertainer had a good reason for it.
"Here's the thing....it's going to sound ridiculous,” said Howie Mandel on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I have to hit a certain number of steps each and every day.”
The entertainer kept track of his steps with a special instrument strapped to his arm. Needing to get to 10,000 steps, the entertainer had just flown in from New Orleans and was only at 2,300. Looking to share the details about his current judging job at America’s Got Talent, he decided to walk around instead of just sitting down and chatting. Of course, catering to her guest, Ellen got up and walked around too.
Take a look at Howie Mandel walking the studio set as he did a live interview. It’s obvious that his health is important to him!
