Video: Howard Stern doesn’t hate HBO’s ‘Girls’ and wants to talk to Lena Dunham

Lena Dunham walked away a winner on Sunday night during the annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, California. However news from across the country is eating up some of her spotlight on Monday morning. Howard Stern is hoping to clarify his remarks about Girls and Lena Dunham. Apparently Howard Stern as asked his staff to help set the record straight and he might even apologize.

“It makes me feel bad and I think she is getting the impression that I somehow think she’s just a talentless little fat chick,” said Howard Stern on his Sirius Radio program. Howard made some remarks last week about the show but somehow the quotes were botched and out of context.

Hoping to make it right, it appears that Howard is doing what he can to repair the bad reporting.
Will Lena Dunham talk to Howard Stern? Most likely she will and it would be great for the show too. If Howard Stern really does like Girls, then he probably can persuade his listeners to watch the show as well.

Take a look at the video clip of Howard Stern trying to set the record straight about Girls. Like the show or not, it’s admirable he is willing to make this right after getting so much heat after being quoted wrong so there are no misunderstandings.
