Monday morning, Twitter was buzzing with the news that Hillary Clinton endorses same-sex marriage; the former Secretary of State had never spoken openly about her support before and it quickly caught the attention of Twitter. Some responded that they wondered what had taken her so long to show her support for same-sex marriage while others already thought she had already shown her support. CBS News broke the story first Monday morning. Hillary Clinton spoke openly about how she came to the decision and why it is so important to her. See the video below.
Hillary Clinton is the former first lady, then the Secretary of State until January when she stepped down, and now she has many people wondering if she will run for president in 2016. Clinton has repeatedly said she wouldn’t run, but that hasn’t stopped her fans from talking about it.
Last year, Hillary Clinton had several bizarre health issues and she said she was very tired and just needed a break from all of it. Late last year, Clinton said that she didn’t want to be the Secretary of State any longer and it was an extremely difficult job. She traveled more during those four years than any other Secretary of State in history.
