Video: Grammys make it rain for Fun performance of ‘Carry On’

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards definitely had a weather element on Sunday night. The band Fun took the stage at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles and somehow found the only rain cloud inside of a building. Performing their hit Carry On, the artists started out the performance dry, but ended up drenching wet as they had water pouring all over them.

While the crowd was excited to see such an interesting performance, those artists in the business pointed out that the singing in the rain was recently done by Rihanna. The accomplished entertainer sang Diamonds in an extremely moving performance late last year with an inside rain cloud and inspired fans around the world.

While Fun definitely got into the mood of the moment, the rain definitely helped a moment to remember for the Grammys. It’s not very often that a major award show invites the elements indoors for a singing opportunity.
