Video: Glenn Beck now complaining about Democrats using race card

All the sudden Glenn Beck is against talking of race.  AP Photo Evan Agostini

In listening to Glenn Beck talk in the clip below you would think he had never used race as a tool against anyone.  In the clip Beck complain that too many times debates are arguments end up evolving into something about race.  I agree with Beck's overall point but I would also contend that he is being hypocritical.

In many of Beck's shows the argument does not evolve into race the argument is race.  Rather than resorting to race-based arguments as a last resort Beck seems to prefer them in trying to attack his opponents.  Allow me to provide the following examples:

(1)  After President Obama's poorly worded "stupidly" comment toward Cambridge police Beck accused the President of being a racist and having a deep seeded hatred for white people.  Rather than doing away with the issue of race in that situation Beck actually fanned the flames with his comments.

(2)  In attacking health care reform Beck went as far as to argue that reform was actually part of some grand plan to pay reparations to blacks.  The actual health care reform legislation has no provision providing more coverage or benefit for minorities but Beck used a number of remote quotes and distortions to inject race into a debate when it did not belong.

(3)  In attacking Van Jones Glenn Beck consistently made the argument that Van Jones had some kind of hatred toward white people.  Even though Van Jones job had nothing to do with race relations Beck made it seem as though Van Jones would play some part in bringing down the white population.

So one must excuse if I do not feel sorry for Glenn Beck when he complain about the race card being played against him.  If the race cards made a perfect  poker hand then Glenn Beck would have a straight flush.  Beck needs to stop playing the race card himself before he complains about the how others use it.

are all mormons bigots like Glenn Beck? people are starting to take a second look at all mormons and the way they dislike non-whites. Are the Osmonds bigots also? Does BYU teach white supremacy? Maybe we should build a wall around Utah and not let this cancer out.

Proof that blacks are getting behind Beck on the issues. Saw this guy (Kevin Jackson)on Beck's show yesterday. He understands the deceit that the Democratic Party is doing to this country. Visit his blog.....

I'm wondering if the people throwing the "racist" declarations are all white that never faced any racism in their lives? Garafolo, Olbermann, Schultz, and Matthews all look white to me. Stop letting these idiots throw out the race card.....they have no credibility.

It's a shame that the words "racist" and "racism" have been used so incorrectly and frequently in the last two years that they will mean nothing in the near future.Although Glenn Beck made the supreme mistake of being white and calling a black person a racist (and has since paid the price with a boycott against him), liberals in the media now use these same words, every single day, to demonize everyone that doesn't agree with their political agendas.

Why is it when the left call it racism--it is the truth, but do not dare to mention racism if you are a conservative. Oh, and blacks could never be racist against whites--right?

Proof that christians are getting behind the romans on the issue. Saw this guy (Judas) on the roman show yesterday. He understands the deceit that the christian followers are doing to this country.

“Why do we have these weapons? Why have we developed these weapons if we're afraid to use them? And I got news for you: I'm afraid to use them because I know exactly what would happen. Everybody would come out of the woodwork saying how horrible we are and we're despicable human beings and now we're using nuclear weapons. I think we need to change the name of the weapon. I think we just need to come up with some sort of politically correct name. Something, I don't know -- this isn't it, but like a butterfly bomb. Aw, look, it's like a little butterfly. We could paint it all psychedelic colors; everybody in San Francisco would be like, "Aw, ain't that like a little butterfly?" Vaporization. I think we'd have a better chance of dropping it. ”

    Glenn beck on foreign policy

The most used phrase in my administration if I were to be President would be "What the hell you mean we're out of missiles?"

Van Jones never said anything like this!
