Video: Glenn Beck fails to get the smoking gun evidence he wants from former Rep. Eric Massa

Glenn Beck was looking for former Rep. Massa to give him evidence against the Obama administration.  AP Photo

Glenn Beck has consistently claimed that the Obama administration engages in corruption and the use of threats in order to accomplish their agenda.  Today Beck announced that he was going to host former Rep. Eric Massa in order to expose some of this behavior in the Obama administration.  Howeveri Instead of exposing any corruption or threats Massa ends up providing no real evidence to support Beck's theories and actually disputes many of Beck's points.

Rep. Massa recently resigned following allegations that he engaged in lewd conduct with male staff members in Congress.  Since the resignation Massa has been forceful in his attacks on Rahm Emanuel and Beck seems to have thought he found a "smoking gun" in Massa who could close the case against the Obama administration.  Other conservatives like Michelle Malkin disagreed with Beck on Massa's credibility as any kind of source but Beck still proceeded with the interview.

As the interview progressed it became clear that Massa was not giving Beck the evidence he wanted.  In the two video clips below Beck presses Massa to provide him with examples of corruption or threats made by the Obama administration.  Instead Massa actually backtracks on many of his previous claims leaving Beck frustrated.  In addition Massa, as a staunch liberal, presses Beck on many of his political points throughout the show which is something Beck does not usually allow.  By the end of the show Beck actually apologizes to his audience for wasting an hour of their time on the interview.

I'll tell you what I can't stand. I just saw a political commercial. The guy said. "Vote for me. I promise to fix what is wrong in Wahington DC."
Like I would trust anyone saying that like I can throw a battledship 300 yards.
You know who I would vote for? "Vote for me. I promise to shut down Washington DC for good" That's a guy I would trust.

Oh...This is about GB. Please forgive me. Need I remind anyone the guy's batting average is stellar. (duh!)
Let's see: Cass Sunstien. Anita Jones. Eric Holder. Van Jones. Yosni Sergant. Mark Lloyd. Acorn. HCR. Climate gate. Progressives.

that's not why beck had massa on...beck had massa on to bury the whitehouse and massa threw himslf on the sword instead...beck was really angry that massa didn't give him any dirt at all.

We all know what a relief it must be for this aurthor. We're sure there's a level of corruption that he would object to, right?

It made for a good telecast, but Beck has done much better on an average day than he did with this goofball Massa.
It was fairly apparent that Massa gave Beck the impression a day earlier that he some beans to spill....only to use Beck as a publicity stunt to get his own message across in attempt at helping save his butt..lol...classic.

Had Beck not avoided military service, he would have know better than to bend over in the shower in front of a squid.

  • Snark 2 years ago

Well, well, well... seems my squid joke actually has some substance - guys who served 'under' Massa in the Navy are talking on the record about him groping subordinates aboard ship.
