I had the pleasure of going on an RIP tour of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida on opening night during the media event. Part of the fun of this tour is that your guide briefs you on the back story of each of the eight haunted houses before you go inside. Although you can go through them without knowing the story or the intellectual properties on which several of them are based, it's still very helpful.
Click the video accompanying this article to hear the descriptions for each house, as told on my RIP tour, along with some visuals from the houses. It's a great set-up if you're not familiar with all of the movies, TV shows, and video games represented at this year's event. Also, if you never knew that the original houses have rich back stories, too, you'll learn their details in the video.
The RIP Tour includes the wildly popular Bill and Ted show, too. It's a great option if you want to be sure you'll get everything done in just one night, and it offers true front of the line access to all of the houses. Jump to this article to read more about these tours.
