Grammy winner Draco Rosa has earned three Latin Grammy nominations for his album "Vida". Rosa received nominations for Album of the Year, Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album and for Record of the Year for "Más Y Más which features Ricky Martin.
After his two-year battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Rosa released "Vida"- a personal celebration of life with his closest musical friends. The album,"Vida" made a March debut at No. 1 on Billboard’s “Top Latin Albums” chart – posting the strongest first week sales of any Latin album released in the first half of the year.
The Latin Grammy nominations were held at a press conference hosted by The Latin Recording Academy President/CEO Gabriel Abaroa Jr., and Univision television personality Chiquinquira "Chiqui" Delgado.
Several artists along with Rosa were presented to read the nominations including Grammy winners Natalie Cole, Aida Cuevas, and Julieta Venegas and artists Leslie Grace, Gaby Moreno and Syntek.
Javier Garza, Illya Kuryaki & The Valderramas and Carlos Vives lead with five nominations each.
Edgar Barrera, Andres Castro, Julio Reyes Copello, Caetano Veloso and Alejandro Sanz each received four nominations.
