Video: Dog saves lost three-year old girls life by keeping her warm at night

Dog saves lost three-year old girls life by keeping her warm at night. In a heartwarming story, a three-year-old girl went missing Thursday and was found Friday morning in a ravine about a half mile from her house with her dog, Blue. Blue is credited with keeping the three-year-old warm throughout the night when temperatures dropped considerably.

When the rescuers walked up to where the three-year-old was and saw the dog, they were concerned that he might bite them because he seemed to be protecting her. But they were able to pick her up and bring her home. Blue seemed happy they said as though he had a huge smile on his face.
Mom and Dad were happy to see the little girl and the dog. They said that think that Blue and the little girl might have a bonded relationship for life. See the video below for the story.

Heartwarming stories of dogs have been told around the world. To read a few of them, see the links on the left.

In November, Susan Garr’s dog, Millie went missing for three weeks and was found in a storm drain, thinner, but still alive. Millie was lost three weeks ago in the Fort Union area of Salt Lake City. Millie, a 4-year-old Australian shepherd mix dropped 13 pounds in three weeks, and was found over the weekend. Millie jumped over the fence, and got stuck in a storm drain, and three weeks later a neighbor heard her barking and could see her behind the storm grate. Animal control and fire officials rescued her and returned her to Susan Garr.

Susan said that she knew something was wrong, but never dreamed Millie was in a storm drain. Millie was very excited to see her and the first thing she did was give Millie a long, hot bath and Millie just relaxed in the warm water. Susan said she probably ate garbage and rats for three weeks; the vet gave Millie some medicine in case she picked up anything. For more information on the story, click here.
