Nicole and Gerald of Chesapeake, Virginia were married 25 feet above the air and had thousands of people watching on Tuesday. Part of the 124th Rose Parade, the float sponsored by Farmers Insurance, the unique way of committing to marriage had people watching on the Love Float that wheeled by during the parade.
Farmers Insurance found the couple after a contest was held to exchange vows aboard a Rose Parade float. With a lot of convincing a plenty of love the couple definitely seemed like the perfect pair for the Tournament of Roses Parade.
As the two rolled by the fans in the crowds roared with enthusiasm. One of the most unique items about the parade on Tuesday morning, the opportunity to engage the crowd while exchanging vows isn't what people would typically think of on New Year’s Day.
