Singer-songwriter Linda Perry produced the annual fundraising event for the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center called “An Evening with Women” over the weekend. Perry and her iconic 80s rock band 4 Non Blondes were the evening highlight as they performed a concert set which included their hit “What’s Up?” The performance marked their first appearance as a band in nearly twenty years.

ABC Family’s freshman series “The Fosters” received a special award for their realistic portrayal of a lesbian couple struggling like any other couple, trying to raise a blended family of children, including a number of foster children.

Special items auctioned off during the night, which raised over $650, 000, included a trip to Bora Bora, Linda Perry’s personal piano signed by celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Courtney Love, Jenifer Lopez, Ozzy Osbourne, Sara Gilbert, Britney Spears and more. All proceeds from the event benefited the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s services for women and girls.

Two of the celebrities that attended the event were “General Hospital” actors Bryan Craig and Kelly Thiebaud, who play Morgan Corinthos and Britt Westbourne on the popular daytime soap.

Daytime TV Examiner spoke with the duo about the event and asked what was ahead for their characters on the show. Britt is currently having a hard time in Port Charles after the reveal of her raising the son of Dante and Lulu Falconeri as her own. Morgan is going through his own troubles as he recently discovered his father, Sonny had slept with his girlfriend Ava.

Check out the interview with Kelly and Bryan on this page.

“General Hospital” airs weekdays on ABC.
