Zombies are seen in the movies, but who would expect the creatures to head to Canada. Addressing the issue on the floor of the House of Commons on Wednesday, the country's level of zombie preparedness was put to the test by several lawmakers. While many laughed, there was an official statement about the situation and it’s safe to say there will never be a Canadian zombie apocalypse.
“Canada would never be a safe haven for zombies,” said Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird acknowledging questions about the issue. Apparently the country is just as unfriendly to zombies as American.
So what started all the zombie talk in the first place? Well, if Hollywood can’t be blamed, then it would be the Centers for Disease Control in the U.S. who put together a response guide for the possible zombie apocalypse or other disaster. Addressing the issue if the zombies go north, the lawmakers jokingly discussed the situation of working together with America during a session at the House of Commons.
It’s obvious that the North American continent is not very zombie friendly. Perhaps that means the zombies will need to take over a small island in the Atlantic. Anybody know if Cuba objects to zombies?
