Boston native Mark Wahlberg, whom you may know from "The Fighter" or as Marky Mark (of Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch), recently disclosed on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" that he allows his seven-year-old daughter to date.
Mark Wahlberg appeared on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" on Monday, February 7, 2011 where he discussed his four children, among other things. Wahlberg disclosed that his seven-year-old daughter was asked on a date by a classmate. After speaking with the boy's father, Wahlberg allowed his daughter to accompany the young boy to the movie "Tangled." Of course, Wahlberg acted as a chaperone.
Thirty-nine year old Mark Wahlberg had a string of high profile romances before meeting his wife Rhea Durham. The couple has been together since 2001; they married on August 1, 2009. Wahlberg and Durham have four children together: Ella Rae, Michael Robert, Brendan Joseph, and Grace Margaret.
Prior to his relationship with Rhea Durham, Mark Wahlberg was linked romantically with Reese Witherspoon, Jordana Brewster, and China Chow.
In related news, this upcoming Valentine's Day marks the third anniversary of the death of Wahlberg's father. Donald Edward Wahlberg passed away on February 14, 2008. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War.
