Beyoncé gave the final performance of the presidential inauguration on Monday morning. The entertainer was a featured guest at the ceremony and ended the inauguration with a very rousing performance of the American national anthem.
Prior to taking to microphone, Beyoncé gave the First Lady and the President a brief hug and shared a smile. Stepping up to the microphone the seasoned entertainer looked comfortable as she belted out the final performance ending the ceremony. After the star finished, the Presidential party left the area to continue the day of events and bring closure to the formality of the swearing in ceremony.
Beyoncé had an extraordinary performance with her rendition of the national anthem. However, she wasn’t the only moving artist with a segment on the platform. Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor also gave emotional performances that brought a special touch to the ceremony.
