On Sunday night Amy Poehler and Tina Fey had an opening monologue for the Golden Globe Awards that had quite a few zingers. Hollywood’s biggest stars were in the audience and those folks were the victims of the duo’s funny remarks. Nobody in the room went unnoticed and a few of the stars definitely were embarrassed. Tina Fey definitely got the biggest gasp during the opening moments of the show with the Zero Dark Thirty director Katheryn Bigelow.
"When it comes to torture, I trust the lady who spent three years married to James Cameron," said Tina Fey. Showing the audience’s response, there was no doubt some stars were shocked at the line (and then chuckled.)
Others who fell victim to the two stars include Meryl Streep, Ricky Gervais and Mandy Patinkin. While the opening covered many stars in the audience, it didn't stop there. Later on zingers were handed out to Taylor Swift and Michael J. Fox. Of course the lighthearted jabs were moments of comedy, but the ladies definitely didn't mind hearing the gasping in the room too.
