Swedish hunk and True Blood vampire Alexander Skarsgard has new love interest and Natasha Alam is it!
The two are set to fall in love on True Blood's Season 3 and Entertainment Weekly says the 26-year-old is joining the cast as "Yvetta", a new dancer in Fangtasia, the sultry hotspot for blood-sucking vamps.
Alam comes from daytime show Bold and the Beautiful as "Ava" - A beautiful Forrester model - and she'll use that same beauty on True Blood to seduce the sexy Skarsgard, who plays "Eric" on the show.
Alam's hot body has also been featured in Playboy and Maxim. The Russian beauty stays in shape with a hot, Russian accent and martial arts.
She's says she enjoys acting over modeling because it's more fulfilling to work from the inside out, instead of just focusing on the exterior.
"I am so happy I'm out of that," she told Gregory Mantell in a past interview (see clip below). "When I was modeling it kind of always felt empty...not satisfied," she said.
Eric, who says he can't wait to get naked on the third rendition of the show, and his sexy, new love interest Natasha Alam will hit the small screen this summer on HBO.

Well, I for one, hope it is just a fling. If AB does not follow the books with the Eric/Sookie relationship, he is going to lose a lot of viewers. Those that have been waiting for the "Club Dead" book to be used as a series model will be very disappointed,I think. I just think that Eric would be bored with anyone else but Sookie since they are destined to be together. He had a chance to be with a beautiful blood donor in S-2 and just brushed her aside.
I so agree. It is Eric we are waiting for... and not an Eric that is cardboard character. I read it in so many places... will not continue to watch for long if Eric and Alexander are not given more meaningful airtime than 2 -5 minutes. This is my opinion.
Well, I can`t imagine Eric falling for Yvetta when he`s hot for Sookie! In season 3 episode 1, Sookie walked in on Eric and Yvetta, and Eric told Sookie he wanted her right in front of Yvetta! I think Eric just wants Yvetta for sex, but he is developing real feelings for Sookie. Though he may not be in love with her, he definitely feels protective of her and cares for her.
Well he does fall in love with her and they actiually get married in later on in the books
