A peek at the 2010 Super Bowl commercials. Many people enjoy the commercials played during the super bowl each year more than the super bowl itself, in fact according to CNN 51% of viewers say they do. This year, a sneak peek has been released for some of the commercials that will air tomorrow during the super bowl.
Budweiser, eTrade, Kia, EA Games, Coke, and Dr. Pepper are just a few of the commercials that will be seen this year.
Tim Tebow and his mother were approved for their commercial however, and it has many women’s rights organizations upset. The commercial hasn’t been released yet, but is said to be about how Tebow’s mother was advised to have an abortion when she was pregnant with him. Doritos ran a contest this year that they would air the best commercial on super bowl Sunday, and they received 4,000 submissions from people around the world. They narrowed it down to the top six and the most popular commercial may win $1,000,000.
Mancrunch.com commercial was denied by CBS and a ton of free publicity came out of that this week. And CBS couldn’t confirm if Mancrunch.com could pay for the commercial. Salt Lake City, Utah has a large openly gay population. Utah soared from 38th in 1990, to # 14 in 2006 in the US gayest states, according to the 2006 American Community Survey.
