"Victory Through Jesus Christ!"(1 Corinthians 15:57) (Video)

Basketball season in Columbia, TN has been well under way since the fall. Columbia Central and Spring Hill High School teams are playing area teams even winning some games. Most of the young people have been playing on teams and could probably speak on the emotions connected with victories and losses. Victories are usually sweet and speak to the hard work put into the practices. Practice and more practice will improve the player’s game. Teamwork will be strengthened. Coaches facilitate and are rewarded when the team reaches its full potential.

The Holy Bible speaks of victory for the Christian. “But thanks be to God He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”(1 Corinthians 15:57) Jesus as the focus gives believer’s victory. He helps them to practice his or her faith. The whole congregation practices faith by exercising prayer and other acts that build up the team. The victories are indeed sweet when prayers are answered.

This New Year is for believers to go from victory to victory. It will be by his or her faith. Believer, you can receive the victory! Make your confession and trust wholeheartedly in God, the Father, Jesus, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each success will be notable, and their will glorious triumphs. Blessings from heaven flowing down because of praise and worship toward God.

“Praise the Lord. Praise, O servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord. Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore. From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets the name of the Lord is to be praised.” (Psalms 113:1-3)
