'Victorious' star Ariana Grande releases debut single

Like her "Victorious" star before her in Victoria Justice, it looks like Ariana Grande has some big-time musical aspirations of her own.

On Ryan Seacrest's radio show on Friday, Grande made the decision to debut her brand-new song entitled "Put Your Hearts Up," a song that is meant to inspire others to try and make the world a better place. (You can listen to the full song over at this link.)

This song ultimately is a smart move by the Nickelodeon star -- not only is it a treat for some of her diehard fans (and there are many), but it also gives her an opportunity to endear to parents, who may be looking to try and tell their children who are suitable role models out in the entertainment world these days.
