Victoria's Secret model trainer Brett Hoebel explains the secrets behind the runway bodies

Last night debuted the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show and on December 1, the show will host its TV debut full of hot models like Miranda Kerr and Heidi Klum. But can you get model ready?

HealthyHollywood.com interviewed Victoria's Secret model trainer Brett Hoebel about how he gets the girls ready for the runway. 

“It’s the cross-training that’s key. It doesn’t let your body adapt to one stimulus too much and it keeps your workouts exciting," Brett, who's a big advocate of interval training and cardio, tells the online blog.

"Structure your cross-training appropriately by alternating the intensity of your sessions so you work, recover, work, recover.”

Recovering is a big part of his training mantra. Brett, who utilizes a holistic approach to fitness, also has additional certifications in more than just fitness. As a Nutrition and Lifestyle coach, Holistic Exercise Kinesiologist and Hatha Yoga instructor, Brett keeps his specializations changing to keep the Victoria's Secret models always guessing what he'll come up with next.

"Then there’s diet," says Brett to HH. "It’s fifty percent of the battle." Brett advises against staying way from "white devils" like white sugar, white flour, white milk, white salt and white rice.

"And drink at least three liters of water a day to flush things out," he coaches in his Fitness and Beyond mentality. "Overall it’s the lean muscle that gets the calories burning, and burning fat emphasizes muscle definition that might otherwise remain hidden"...such as Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio who looked fierce on the catwalk.
