Victoria Beckham continues her quest for global fashion domination. The designer has released a teaser video for her new website,victoriabeckham.com, according to a Jan. 25 Daily Mail report.
The 17-second teaser for the website features a voiceover by Beckham, images of the designer making a speech and applying lipstick and shots of models in her “Victoria Beckham” designs walking on the runway. The e-commerce website launches in Spring 2013, and it will provide her fans easy access to the designer’s brand; each piece will be just one mouse click away.
In the video, Beckham talks about her brand and her journey with the website so far, “What do people expect of me... mmm, I think people expect the best.” The video was created by King & Partners, who have worked with other famed designers, including Marc Jacobs.
Model Cara Delevingne stars on the designer’s website shows off her ballet skills and introducing the arrival of the website. According to Beckham, she has been working on her website for a while. “My new website has been in the making for a very long time. 'It was so important that the concept, tone and look of it were true to me and my aesthetic and that the shopping experience was the very best that it could be for my customer.”
Fans are in for a treat as Beckham promises to let them into her world. “The site will be ever evolving featuring never seen before insights into my world through the medium of film. I'm incredibly excited with what I have created and the unique access to the brand I am now able to offer.”
