Victoria Beckham says she doesn't think that Howard Stern has the "international appeal" to take over Simon Cowell's chair on American Idol.
Beckham made the comment during her guest co-hosting appearance on Wednesday morning's The View. After The View shrews roasted some of American Idol's most pathetic castoffs from Tuesday night's episode, the crones pressed Victoria Beckham for her opinion a Howard Stern-led American Idol judging panel.
"I mean, I don't know," said Beckham. "I think the great thing about Simon Cowell is he has international appeal. And Howard Stern? Outside of America? Not so many people,...."
Beckham was then cut off by co-host and "flat-Earther" Sherri Shepherd who inexplicably burst in: "The homeless people and midgets!"
The former Spice Girl then quickly switched over to discussing her own pick to fill Simon Cowell's chair: Elton John. "Elton would be good. I don't know if he'd do it, but he has a very honest opinion. He's very knowledgable. He's fun. He's flamboyant."
Victoria Beckham acted as a guest judge during the early rounds of this season's American Idol.
The Howard Stern Show is currently on vacation and will return live on Monday, February 22nd.
