The Duchess of Cambridge's maternity wear could be designed by a close friend of the royal couple's. Victoria Beckham has reportedly offered to modify her clothing line to help dress Kate Middleton's baby bump throughout her royal pregnancy. "Victoria said she's happy to cut the lines of her collection to accommodate a growing bump," a source tells Marie Claire magazine today (Monday). "She's doing all she can to secure their friendship - and even joked she wants her sons to play polo!"
The source also reveals the Duke and Duchess have invited the Beckhams to Kensington Palace so they can exchange parenting tips. According to the report, Kate admires the way Victoria Beckham has been able to balance being a successful, working mother of four.
As Examiner.com previously reported the Beckhams were among the first celebrity couples to congratulate Kate and William on their pregnancy. The former Spice Girl reportedly sent flowers and a hand-written note just days after the royal baby news broke.
Kate could also be getting parenting advice and maternity styles from one of her favorite designers -- Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton. The royal wedding gown designer is expecting twins in February, but has said she "hopes" she'll be commissioned to design some of the Duchess' maternity wear, as well.
