As I grow older, I am learning that there are some pieces that are worth paying a little bit more for. These “investment pieces” will transcend the trends and look timeless for years to come.
And for a classic dress, I turn to none other than Victoria Beckham.
The deep v fitted dress with plunging neckline, matching belt and knee-length skirt is a piece I could see for any season. I love how this dress is paired with beige, a nice departure from the classic gold or silver. This dress is available for $2320.
Does this next dress look familiar? This white cropped top floorlength gown was worn by Victoria at this year’s Met Gala. This simple white gown can stand on its own and doesn't need any additional accessories. (Although a little turquoise would also be appropriate.) It will be available soon for $4520.
I am also a fan of dresses in an unexpected color. This beige split front midi is fun, flirty and classic. This neutral color can be paired with just about anything and is priced at $965.
A little black dress is a signature piece in any woman’s wardrobe. This deep v floorlength dress has timeless, classic lines. (Because I have a smaller chest, I can get away with showing more skin without appearing too flashy.) This dress is available at $3725.
With these simple investment pieces, your wardrobe can go from bleak to chic.
