Victoria Beckham removes breast implants, reveals workout and diet secrets

Victoria Beckham is fit and fab at 39, thanks to a balanced diet and daily four-mile runs, she told Allure.

Beckham, a mother of four, maintains her girlish figure by running on the treadmill at 6 a.m. every morning and following a portion-controlled diet. While her rail-thin figure has spurred rumors of an eating disorder, Beckham insists she does eat, but controls her weight by staying active.

"I'm not one of those people who can't eat carbs," said the size-0 Victoria. "I eat a lot. I do. I run four miles a day on the treadmill. I know that works for me, so I've kind of trained myself. I do lift weights."

Victoria is a longtime follower of the Alkaline Diet, which includes plenty of fresh green vegetables, fruits, beans, lentils, spices, seeds and nuts. The theory is that eating a diet high in alkaline-producing foods will minimize acid buildup in our bodies (which fuels inflammation, aging, and weight gain).

Meanwhile, Beckham revealed that she underwent plastic surgery to remove her “torpedo-bazooka" breast implants. "They got removed," said the former Spice Girl. "I don't have them anymore."

Beckham has been busy with her fashion line, and said she has worked hard for her success, which she never takes for granted. Looking back, Victoria said her strong work ethic is what has helped reach the top of the competitive music industry, and the equally tough fashion business.

“I was never a natural," she said. "I got there in the end because I did believe that if you work hard enough you can achieve a lot.”

Victoria works equally hard to maintain a balance between her busy career and her hectic home life. She credits her husband, soccer star David Beckham, for much of her happiness.

“David is the most wonderful man I have ever met," she said. "He’s a fantastic father. He’s incredibly talented, a wonderful husband. I supported him for many years, and he’s proud of me. He supports me. We’re very equal at home.”
