The situation in the Johnny Weir and Victor Voronov divorce battle turns ugly and bitter. Radar Online, March 25, 2014, reports that Johnny arrived at the apartment with half-a-dozen policemen and took the couples dog, Tema.
Johnny and Victor went to court on March 21. Victor obtained a restraining order against Johnny. He alleges that Johnny hit him in the arm. He also claims that Johnny threw jewelry and a wooden Russian doll at him, too.
Johnny received a court order which allowed him to go into the couple’s apartment for 30 minutes. During that time, he was to collect his things and leave. Victor was to stay out of it while the police helped Johnny remove his possessions.
Johnny arrived at the apartment while Victor was in court. He came with six police officers and Victor’s cousin. Johnny started taking his things, including their dog, Tema, a Japanese Chin. Victor was not in the apartment at the beginning. He showed up as Johnny took the dog.
Radar Online reports that a sobbing Victor immediately got on the phone with Wendy Feldman, his crisis manager.
A court date is set for next week. At that time, the judge will listen as Johnny and Victor discuss their rights over the dog and other issues. At some point, the judge will then rule whether Johnny or Victor will be Tema's legal custodial owner.
