Victor Sharpe, former broadcaster and author wrote an opinion piece today that reveals that America is retreating due to President Obama’s actions with his appointees to three positions. He points out the reasons why Obama chose CIA nominee, John Brennan, Senator John Kerry for Secretary of State, and former Senator, Chuck Hagel to head the Pentagon.
Sharpe stated, “One must ask why has Obama chosen Hagel, Kerry and Brennan for such critical U.S. security positions? Well, let me answer what is a rhetorical question. Because Obama hates Israel and purposely surrounds himself with apparatchiks (loyal subordinates) who share his baleful world view.”
The strained relationship between President Obama and Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu should come as no surprise. No previous American president has had so strained a relationship with Israel as Barack Obama according to Discover the Networks who outlined a detailed reason of why President Obama is not to be trusted.
Sharpe pointed out Brennan and Hagel as examples of secrecy and mistrust to those in Israel and further referenced the Obama administration’s coziness with Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood.
Sharpe said with Hagel, he has refused to release documents on the sources of his foreign funding because he is purportedly receiving donations from “Friends of Hamas.” With John Brennan, there are reports that Brennan secretly converted to Islam when he was stationed in Saudi Arabia.
“The Obama regime is busily abandoning America’s influence in the world by surrendering to Islam. Obama is clearly letting Iran go nuclear. Look at his dire policy of supplying F-16 fighter planes and 200 Abrams tanks to the evil - yes it is evil - Muslim Brotherhood that now oppressively rules Egypt,” Sharpe said. “Obama allegedly allowed the U.S. Ambassador to Libya to be murdered, raped and dragged through the streets by Al Qaeda thugs and there are questions swirling in Washington as to where the president was during those fateful eight hours while the siege and needless slaughter went on.”
In March, President Obama is scheduled to visit Israel and Attorney Steven M. Goldberg, National Vice Chairman of the Zionist Organization of America and Vice President of Children of Jewish Holocaust Survivors has called on Israelis to protest Obama’s visit and feels the same way as Victor Sharpe.
Goldberg stated, “Netanyahu appears helpless to stop the oncoming Obama train. If Obama's plans to impose his will on Israel are to be thwarted, it will be up to the people of Israel to make their voices heard. Polls show that most Israelis realize that Obama is no friend. Any lingering doubt about the President's coldness and indifference has been erased by his appointment of John Kerry as Secretary of State and nomination of the Israel-bashing, anti-Semitic Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense.”
While President Obama appears to continue his agenda of dividing the land of Israel against Israel’s wishes, Sharpe did not mix words of the seriousness of Obama’s agenda or his political appointees of Kerry, Hagel, and Brennan.
Sharpe said, “My advice to Israel and to Prime Minister Netanyahu when Obama comes to visit is to put absolutely no faith in whatever assurances he may offer. Obama will not take any serious action against Iran; rather he will instead take action against the interest of the Jewish state. He will not embrace Netanyahu in a positive and true rapport but will demand concessions from Israel that will amount to national suicide.”
“It tells me that America is retreating on all fronts, both domestically and internationally, and without a strong United States the world is fast entering a perilous time.”
