Update 4/21/14: A wonderful family in Florida has been found for this pair!

For ten years, Chocolate and Emma had a home, and a family - they enjoyed a normal life and their golden years should have been secure.

Unfortunately, the senior dogs found themselves at a rural animal control facility in Morehead, Ky., when their owners divorced.

Being a homeless dog is tough - being a homeless, senior dog is even worse...few people set out to adopt a dog who has already given the best years of their life to someone else.

Both dogs are described as friendly, loving and good with other dogs.

Please take a moment to network on behalf of Emma and Chocolate - they deserve a secure, happy future.
