A man thought to be the sole survivor of a triple shooting last year is now believed to be the suspect who gunned down the other two and then remained at the scene.
Mr. Broderick Allen, 25, was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of murder, Atlanta police spokesman Officer John Chafee said.
But it was still unclear Tuesday what motived the deadly double shooting outside the vacant home in southwest Atlanta.
About 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 21, officers were dispatched to 3690 Asbury Lane after getting a call about shots fired.
They found three men inside a vehicle at the scene: two dead and one with non-life threatening injuries.
The deceased victims have been identified as Mr. Miguel Hayes and Mr. Anthony Jackson, both 25, Officer Chafee said.
Mr. Allen was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was treated for a gunshot wound to his hand.
On Tuesday, he remained in the Fulton County jail without bond.
