Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Barney on Heather Dubrow's 'RHOOC' rise

The premiere episode of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" devoted a lot of air time to Heather Dubrow. She's also the housewife who stands in the middle of the pack for the show's opening image. So it's understandable that the veteran of the show, Vicki Gunvalson, may have a bit of a problem with that.

In a video interview with OK! Magazine, posted on Monday, April 21, Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Barney talked about Heather. When it was brought up how Heather doesn't seem so popular this season, Tamra agreed that Heather "came in a little strong" for the new season and that she feels Heather was more opinionated than in seasons past.

Vicki chimed in that everyone is more popular in their own minds than they really are. She then complained about Heather being chosen as the housewife who gets to stand in the middle for the opening promo shot. She revealed that she doesn't know how that happened as she was supposed to stand in the middle, with everyone else surrounding her.

Just as they did in the premiere episode, Vicki and Tamra also made fun of Heather for her refusal to let loose and join in on their wild ways. Tamra seemed to stand up for Heather a bit and was just making harmless fun of her while Vicki seemed to make more purposefully-hurtful comments and seemed to have a real problem with her. It's a good thing that Tamra stood up for Heather as Heather has publicly come out in support of her in the midst of her child custody battle with her ex-husband Simon Barney.

Heather Dubrow came on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" at season seven, joining returning housewives Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney, Gretchen Rossi, and Alexis Bellino. Since Heather has joined the show, she has seen the departures of Gretchen and Alexis, as well as Lydia McLaughlin, after season eight, and the arrival of Shannon Beador, Lizzie Rovsek and Danielle Gregorio.
