Michael Vick is attending dog training classes. On March 5, The Inquisitr reported that Vick has been bringing his new puppy to training classes as a local Petsmart in New Jersey. The NFL star has been taking his new dog Angel, a Belgian Malinois, to class once a week where he is accompanied by a bodyguard.
Michael Vick spent time behind bars for illegal dog fighting and while he may have moved on, people are still very concerned with any thing that involves him and an animal. However, this time around it seems as though Vick is doing things right.
Vick's dog training classes are just part of his "new" life. He has said that he wants a dog because he wants his kids to learn how to love and care for animals. There are many parents that feel this is important and that kids should have a pet of some kind growing up. Vick doesn't let his negative past impact his life and he seems to be doing fine moving forward.
It is unknown how Vick and Angel are doing in the class but according to the report, it sounds like things are going well. He likely enrolled in one of the public programs that usually cost around $120 for 6 weeks (one time per week). A dog trainer will work with you and your pet (as well as others in the class) to teach you some basic commands. Every dog benefits from training and so will Vick's pup.
Did the headline, Vick dog training, interest you? Do you think he should be allowed to own a dog after what he did? Should people just move on?
