Biden, 71 made the statement in support of same-sex marriage two years ago at a time the Obama administration was on record as being against it. Biden claims that since that statement, he’s been on Obama’s “bad side.”

Biden went on to reveal that he was excluded from high-level meetings and was given low responsibility tasks. He described his demotion of duties as “totally reflective of the president’s power.” Biden also believes that Hillary Clinton is expected to go up against him for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016.

It is the growing battle between Biden and Clinton that the vice president stated was further driving a wedge between him and the president.

Speaking to Politico, a Washington insider stated that Biden is “in a predicament” as “never in his entire life has he been better positioned to get the thing he most wants: the presidency. He’s climbed almost all the way to the top. And guess what? Somebody moved the ladder. How would you deal with that?”
