Vice President Joe Biden lobbies for illegal aliens - 'down Mexico way'

The job of vice president of the United States is anything but glamorous, but you would think that a guy who runs around wearing an American flag lapel pin and says he represents our interests would at least find time to travel this country talking up the importance of finding jobs for 20 million Americans who can't find one.

Instead, he found time to travel to Mexico where he carried the amnesty banner for his boss who shows the same disrespect for the rule of law and our national sovereignty as do the 11.7 million people living here illegally.

In part, here's what your vice president said about what would be the 8th amnesty since 1986:

“(It is) literally going to shape the future for my country for the next 10, 20, 30, 40 years.”

You bet it would. For example, in just the first 10 years work permits would be given to 33 million foreign workers. Like to compete, especially in our lousy job market? Joe Biden has a treat in store for you. In 40 years? If you call yourself an environmentalist, knock yourself out because we will have added 100 million people to our already stressed-out population.

For most Americans and their descendants - and immigrants - that's not going to be a very bright future. But for the Bidens and Obamas of this nation, you can bet that they are taking steps as we speak to make sure their families will be insulated from what is popularly know these days as "unintended consequences."

Abandoned by their own government, the American people have but two choices at this point in our history where it will be decided once and for all whether the principles on which this nation was founded will remain intact. Those choices are, as President John Adams wrote, to be "timid" or "true blue."
