It has been noticed that the Vice President of these United Stated mentions the words “God Awful” in a lot of his speeches, especially his latest speech on the issue of gun control. This is not the only incident in which Mr. Vice President appears to be using God’s name in vain.
God was not responsible for the bloodshed of innocent children at Sandy Hook Elementary School, nor any of the other violence that this country has recently endured.
It’s said that we should be careful how we say things, and exactly what we say. We can make so many things happen with what is delivered from our lips. There is power in what we speak and our conversations hold volumes.
Recently a man attempted to break into a Florida home during a jewelry party, to rob the attendees of their money and cell phones. One of the women shouted at the gunman, “Get out of my house in the name of Jesus!”, then the other women in the home began to shout the name “Jesus”, and the crook had to flee. God is not “awful”. He is not the one causing disaster in gun related issues or violence upon people. God is love and He loves those whom He created even if some choose a path of evil and destruction.

So, Vice President Biden, with all due respect, please desist in calling “God awful” in your speeches. If you feel like using a filler expression, kindly consider something else. This phrase may have been overlooked by the masses; nonetheless, it attracted this writer’s attention.
