Viagra, not just for men anymore. It is just like that saying that Parmesan cheese isn't just for pasta anymore. Viagra for flowers? If you have managed to receive a beautiful bouquet of flowers and don’t know how to keep them standing up longer than usual, try putting some Viagra in the water.
There was a new study done by researchers in Israel and Australia recently and they have discovered that Viagra can help keep your flowers stamina up for a little while longer. The researchers already tested the little blue pill that is used to treat male impotence on strawberries, carnations, legumes, roses and more. They then decided to turn to cut flowers and see what it would do for them. The researchers discovered that by just putting one milligram of Viagra softened in a solution into the water of the cut flowers that this was just enough to keep two vases of cut flowers alive for a week longer than usual. Not only this, but a plant researcher discovered that the little blue pill was good for ripening plants as well. Apparently, Viagra has almost the same effect on ripening a plant than it does on the male sex organ.
However, Viagra is an expensive way to keep your cut flowers alive a little while longer because one little blue pill for male sexual health costs $5.
Next time you have some Viagra sitting around and for some reason you don’t need them anymore, don’t flush them down the toilet. Use them on your flowers and watch them stay alive almost a week longer than normally.
