The movie titled "Da Possessed" starring Vhong Navarro and Solenn Heusaff is scheduled to be seen in theaters nationwide this coming April 19, it was also confirmed by Vhong on his Twitter account two days ago. But before the showing of his movie, an article from ABS-CBN News posted this morning, April 18, 2014 confirmed that his leading lady, Solenn Heusaff, is in Myanmar with Anne Curtis, Erwan Heusaff and Nico Bolzico.
Vhong's battle with Cedric Lee: Cedric Lee and Vhong Navaro are in different situation right now because of an incident that happened in a condominium unit last Jan. 22. The successful businessman is facing criminal charges filed by the It's Showtime host, but for some reasons, Cedric decided not to post bail for the grave coercion case.
The DOJ secretary immediately ordered the authorities to arrest Cedric Lee, Bernice Lee, Zimmer Raz, Ferdinand Guerrero and Jose Paolo Calma after hearing the report. But despite her ordered arrest, the netizens especially the fans and supporters of Vhong Navarro are still saying that the Philippine justice system is laggard.
There are speculations that Cedric and his cohorts decided not to post bail because of the court's possible issuance of arrest warrants against them for the non-bailable serious illegal detention case. In her previous statement, DOJ Sec. Leila De Lima said she is expecting the court to come up with the best decision for the non-bailable case next week.
The good secretary did not give any detailed information regarding the issue, but according to some observers who are following this controversial case, Sec. Leila De Lima is expecting the court to release warrant of arrest next week. Meanwhile, in an interview with some reporters last week, Atty. Howard Calleja confirmed that his clients, Cedric Lee and Deniece Cornejo, are willing to face the charges filed by Vhong Navarro.
This means, if the Taguig Metropolitan Trial Court has issued arrest warrants for the non-bailable serious illegal detention case, Atty. Howard Calleja's clients will stay in jail for the rest of the trial. That is one of the saddest parts of the case, your liberty will take away from you while the court is still hearing the case. But of course, you should not be afraid of because the court will give your liberty back to you if you are innocent.
