Just this morning, March 6, 2014, Tony Calvento, one of the supporters of actor-TV host Vhong Navarro posted the latest and updated report in the Vhong Navarro-Cedric Lee-Deniece Cornejo case. Based on his updated post, the comedian-turned TV host has already filed a case of perjury and libel with damages against Roxanne Cabanero at the Pasig Prosecutor's Office.

Aside from Roxanne, the former beauty contestant, the It's Showtime host has also decided to file a case of perjury against all the accused who mauled him and libel cases against Cedric Lee and Deniece Cornejo. According to Tony Calvento, Vhong decided to file those cases against Cedric and Deniece due to their continued pronouncements that he is a rapist.

For some observers, Vhong is doing the right thing, according to them, those cases will help him to pacify his accusers especially Deniece, Cedric and Roxanne. They added that filing a case of perjury and libel against his accusers will also serve as a reminder to everyone who wants to come out and join Roxanne and Deniece.

It can be remembered that after Vhong's statement on Buzz Ng Bayan with host Boy Abunda, Cedric Lee came out and revealed that several women are also set to come out to prove that the It's Showtime host is a rapist. Several weeks after, Roxanne allegedly knocked the door of Atty. Virgilio Batalla and accused Vhong, but because of the evidence gathered by the actor's camp, her credibility is now being questioned.
