"Vhong Navarro is expecting that complaint," Atty. Alma Mallonga told reporters of TV Patrol awhile ago. The good lawyer was talking about the newly-filed rape complaint by a certain Margarita Fajardo (according to pep.ph), a self-proclaimed stunt woman. Based on a posted article of philstar.com yesterday, April 4, 2014, the rape complaint was filed at the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office.
After reading the news, the fans and supporters of comedy actor Vhong Navarro shouted their disagreement on the issue through their social media accounts, according to them, the newly-filed rape complaint is just one of the dirty tactics of Cedric Lee and his men who mauled the actor at Deniece Cornejo's condominium unit last Jan. 22. Atty. Alma Mallonga, who is now receiving death threats because of her dedication in helping the actor, said they haven't yet received a copy of the complaint.
But she assured everyone that they (Vhong's legal team) will respond and follow the process when they receive the copy. She added that the third rape complaint is irrelevant to the crime committed against the actor. "We will wait for the complaint and respond. We will follow the process, knowing full well that Vhong will be vindicated. Let us not lose focus. This complaint, and other complaints to follow, is irrelevant to the crime committed against Vhong," Atty. Alma said.
Incidentally, the actor is now promoting his comeback movie with Solenn Heusaff, one of the sexy actresses in the industry nowadays. Reports said they have a kissing scene in the movie aside from a scene that almost similar to the Forbeswood Heights Condominium mauling incident where he was beaten up by Cedric Lee and seven others.
