In his battle for truth, the actor-TV host Vhong Navarro is not alone. This evening, Feb. 16, 2014 (Philippine time), Vhong proved to everyone that he has a lot of supporters in and outside the industry. All his friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry have already announced their support in his quest for justice and truth.
Aside from his friends and supporters, Vhong Navarro also has Tony Calvento, the brave Filipino journalist who chose to give his full support despite the fact that he has his own life, family and friends that need his presence. If there are issues against Vhong, Tony Calvento is always there to defend him especially when it comes to his battle against Deniece Cornejo, Bernice Lee, Cedric Lee and his men.
Just a few hours ago, Atty. Raymond Fortun, one of the most talented lawyers in the country, announced his resignation as a spokesperson of Cedric and Deniece through Buzz Ng Bayan with hosts Boy Abunda, Janice De Belen and Carmina Villaroel. According to him, his clients had violated their agreement when Denice aired her opinion about the content of the second CCTV footage gathered by the National Bureau of Investigation or NBI in Forbeswood Condominium.
While Boy Abunda was just reading Atty. Fortun's statement, a lot of people took to their social media accounts and expressed their congratulations to the brave lawyer, according to them, Atty. Fortun had made the right decision when he resigned as a spokesperson of Cedric et al. This is just their first battle, but like what the netizens are now saying, the It's Showtime host has already scored a very big shot and won his first battle against Cedric Lee and Deniece Cornejo.
