The next hearing for Cedric Lee and Zimmer Raz's filed motion for stay at the NBI detention cell is on May 16, but based on an updated post of Tony Calvento, avid supporter of Vhong Navarro, the decision will come out before May 16. Just yesterday, May, 12, 2014 (U.S. time) or May 13, 2014 (Philippine time) Tony Calvento posted another breaking news in the Vhong Navarro case, he posted, the National Bureau of Investigation is now looking and verifying if the information given to him by Manuel Jojo Tan is valid or not.
Based on his revelation, Manuel Jojo Tan is an emissary of Jed Fernandez, one of the seven accused in the serious illegal detention case filed by actor-TV host Vhong Navarro in connection with the mauling incident that happened in a condominium unit last Jan. 22. According to the journalist, Manuel identified the John Doe, one of the accused in the case as seen on the CCTV footage gathered by the NBI, but due to lack of information, the authorities failed to recognize.
Tony immediately encouraged Edgardo Sampana, one of the accused as mentioned by Manuel Jojo Tan during their conversation, to come out. Going back to a motion filed by Cedric Lee and Zimmer Raz, Judge Paz Esperanza Cortez has already inspected the Taguig City Jail yesterday. According to ABS-CBN News, the lady judge inspected the jail for about 30 minutes, but refused to reveal if Judge Cortez is convinced with Cedric and Zimmer's allegations or not.
The two filed a motion for stay at the NBI detention cell after their arrival in Manila. They were arrested by the NBI in the Town of Oras, Eastern Samar, according to the report, Deniece Cornejo was also in the area, but based on the model's revelation when she surrendered to the PNP officials, she was not in Oras when the authorities arrested her co-accused.
